Join the Chicago Firefighters Union Local 2, Alderman Matthew O’Shea and the Chicago Park District at a fundraiser on Saturday, October 8, at the Cork and Kerry on South Western Avenue to assist in offsetting the costs of building a memorial park for two of Chicago’s fallen firefighters: Patrick King and Anthony Lockhart.

The memorial park is located directly across the street from Cork & Kerry and is still a work in progress. As many of you know, these firefighters lost their lives while fighting a fire at the auto shop on 2/11/98, and the memorial park now occupies the site of this travesty.
