In Memory of Lieutenant Patrick Hannon of the Chicago Fire Department

The Board of Directors and membership of the 100 Club of Chicago extend their condolences to the family of

On January 15, 2011, Lieutenant Hannon, 51, was found unconscious and unresponsive at fire company quarters after responding to four separate alarms and a company drill.  Hannon was rushed to Mercy Medical Center but could not be revived.

Lieutenant Hannon is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Representatives of the 100 Club of Chicago met with the family on March 18, 2013, after Hannon’s death was reclassified as a line of duty death under the Hometown Heroes Act.

A total of $50,000 was presented to the family of Lieutenant Hannon on behalf of the 100 Club of Chicago.
