We mourn the loss of Captain Herbert Johnson, a 32-year veteran firefighter, who succumbed to injuries from a blaze at a home on the southwest side on 11/2/12. It is times like these that the family of strangers that is the 100 Club comes together to honor the life of a fallen hero, to pledge support for those they have left behind and to express our gratitude to the active emergency responders who put their lives at risk every day.
