On August 27th we celebrated our 47th Anniversary and we were very pleased to spend part of it at the Chicago Police Department’s Graduation Ceremony for Recruit Class 13-1 and 13-2. Of the 110 officers taking the Oath of Office, 21 followed in the footsteps of a family member before them and 27 came to CPD after serving in the U.S. Military – including a Purple Heart recipient! We were very proud to celebrate with the Graduates!
