October 1, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) — First responders were honored Tuesday night for going above and beyond the call of duty.
They were recognized during a ceremony in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
The 100 Club of Chicago celebrated its 33rd annual Valor Awards.
Every year the award is presented to those police officers, firefighters and paramedics who went the extra mile to serve their communities.
