It was a somber day here in Chicago, as Police Officer Clifton Lewis was laid to rest.

For the past 45 years, the 100 Club of Chicago has been helping families of both Police and Firemen who are killed in the line of duty. The assistance includes a $50,000 check and college tuition paid for each child.

We spoke with the organization’s Executive Director Joe Ahern, who also shared the organization’s latest public service announcement. The commercial features some of the biggest stars with Chicago ties – Gary Sinise, Dennis Farina, Dennis Franz, Joe Mantegna, William Peterson and Tom Dreesen, all making a pitch for the 100 Club.

You can see the PSA in its entirety in the video above.

CORRECTION: Yes, Dennis Farina was indeed a CHICAGO cop. Something all of us knew, but for some reason when the lights go on, common knowledge sometimes floats away. Thanks so much for clarifying our airheaded-ness on this matter!
